Hello!
I was going through posts and sites; I came across a discussion of Enchanted Temples of Taos...First of all, I am also a decendent of an Indian slave, Andres Woodson, out of Saguache.Next, Andres was married to a woman named Senovia (mulitple spellings) Romero, of Taos. Her parents were Jose de Jesus Romero and Rufina Garcia, of Taos. The Romero family had left Taos and went to the Conejos area, leaving NM for CO.
I saw your post.
I am interested to hear if you found any answers. Also, did you ever find a copy of this book?Perhaps there may even be a digital copy someone has made?Do you recognize any of the names of Senovia or her parents? She also had siblings, and a grandmother, listed on an 1860 Census.I tried to mail you some items, but the email address was not current. One item is an 1860 Census with the Romero family. The second is the church marriage record for Andres and Senovia...I have much more information.I am sure of these documents, and the lineage to this point.
I would love to find out more about your work and findings.I do hope that this does in fact get to you!If you are not still tracking the lines, do you have/hold any good leads or stories that could start my path again?
Or, if anyone else has information, or is simply interested, please feel free to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Sharon Harris
