Knowing how names are passed on from father to son, I wonder if the Hugh Ronald you speak of might have been the father of my great-great-grandfather who emigrated to Canada as a young man. I don't know where he came from in Scotland. His wife's name was Jane. They had at least 5 chldren, born in the 1840s and 1850s. Do you have any information on the children of the Hugh Ronald you mentioned?

Thanks,
Phyllis Trick
