One afterthought on a research method for finding Sarah Ware's parents. You might want to try to located Reuben Abner and Sarah Rebecca Ware Roper in the 1880 United States Census in either Texas, Arkansas or Oklahoma (it appears that the younger children Martha Arva ROPER and Ida Jane ROPER may have been born in Texas or Arkansas). The 1880 Census will give you not only the state of birth of both Reuben and Sarah (which we think we already know), but also the states of birth of the PARENTS of each.
This will tell you what State the parents of Sarah came from, which will give you a much better idea as to where to look for them.Since Sarah was born in 1849, you OUGHT TO be alble to find a Census record showing her in her father's household in BOTH 1850 AND 1860.Coupled with her given DOB, her father and mother's state of birth will show you better WHERE to look as well as give you greater certainty that you have found the correct household with a 1 yr old Sarah in 1850 and an 11 yr old Sarah in 1860.
