dear June, ive been writing to 1 of my cousins(who found some of my messages concerning Ropp)she had written and said something about our family having Penn.-Dutch(amish-background)she also send me alot of info on the ropp family but still have a lot of blanks maybe you can help fill in.heres what i have.David Newcomer Ropp b 1 may 1812 Greene Ohio d 15 july 1872 Walnut Grove Ks m 8 feb 1844 to Mary A Palmer b 12 dec 1821 Va d 19 mar 1902 russell twsp cloud kansas.they had 11 children most died at a young age.so here goeschristopher coloumbus b 1846 d 1846,rebecca jane"jenny" b 1846/47 d 1912 spouse john mohn,alexander joseph b 1848 d 1870,elizabeth ann b 1850 d 1880,daniel calvin b 1852 d 1854,peter ellsworth b 1853 d 1938 in ks city wyandotte ks (when i was born at)sarah ellen b 1855 d 1941,mary isabelle b 1857,maria rhoda(my gggrandmother) b 1859/61 d abt 1912spouse george w brim,infant ropp b 1863 d 1863,hannah emmaline b 1864 d 1866.i also have the days they were born on and died on,the towns/cities they were born and died in.please email directly if theres any connection.
