dear june i have written you before but had little info on my ropp ancesters,but now i have more and would like to share it with you as i found it very interesting.ive been writing a lady in Ne who happens to be my 3rd cousin from the ropp side she said that she found some letters in her aunt bessies farmhouse and we also have penn.-dutch(amish background)and traced the line back to david newcomer ropp b 1812 Md d 1872 ks m mary ann palmer 1844 she was b 1821 Va d 1902 ks they had 11 children christopher b and d 1846 rebecca jane b 1846/48 Oh d 1912 In alexander joseph b 1848 Oh d 1870 elizabeth ann b 1850Oh d 1880 daniel calvin b 1852 Oh d 1854 peter ellsworth b 1853 In d 1938 Ks sarah ellen b 1855 In d 1941 Ks mary isabelle b 1857 IN maria rhoda b 1859/1861 In d abt 1912 Ks ropp b and d 1863In hannah emmaline b 1864 In d 1866.if any of this is connected to you please email me.thanks a million, lisa
