Hi!

I am trying to determine if the Joseph R. Ropp that I am researching is the Joseph Ropp that was the son of Andreas and Elizabeth Ropp in your posting. The Joseph Ropp I am researching lived in Mornington, Perth North, Ontario in the 1881 census. He was married to Magdalena Lichti. He was born 1825-26 according to his reported age of 55 in that census (although I know that things are sometimes mis-reported).

Can you offer me any insight into the parentage of this Joseph Ropp? He was a Mennonite and died in Ontario after 1881. THanks for your help!
