This is really a long shot, but I am going to try anyway.
I have just received information that my GGgrandmother was possibly a Rorex, on a death certificate for her son, it states that his mother's maiden name was Rorex. Her name was Rebecca Ann, Anne, she married a William Carter Shutters and they had 11 children. I have Rebecca born about 1839 in Bedford County, Tn. It is also possible that she had a twin sister, I do not have anything on the twin sister. It is also possible that she was married to a Cook before she married William Carter Shutters. William and Rebecca lived in the Crow Creek Valley of Tennesse most of their lives which is very near Jackson County, Al. They lived in the area of Anderson, Tn. known as Shutters Woods or Cove. Rebecca's first born was John Milton.
