I suspect these Rosentraders were related but must have emigrated separately. John Godliff Rosentrader emigrated 4 or 6 Aug 1853 from Hamburg or Bremen to NY, b. ?Cogazen, Prussia. He was naturalized 1856 in White co. IN, d. about 1869 there. He had offspring Deborah, Mary Jane and Ellen. I have run across Louis b. 1850-5, Ada b. 1886, Emil b. 1885-8, Charles b. 1874, Henry b. 1869 and Mike b. 1844. Don't know what their relationship is to my John, but your Caroline & Louis are morely likely siblings of Mike than of John. John was probably the Rosentrader that emigrated on the "Washington" from Bremen to NY on 4 Aug 1853, accompanied by a possible brother W. " Rosentutor " b. 1829, and probably by their mother "Mrs. Rosentutor" b. 1792.
