Andrew & Annie lived in Coon Valley, La Crosse Cty, Wisconsin from about 1873 until 1884, where they had 80 acres. Then they moved to Walworth Cty - near Lowery, SD. They later homesteaded on a farm in Oak Gulch township, Day Cty, SD about 1885. They farmed with their family. Lloyd Brokaw bought the farm & farmed it until he moved to ND. Victor Jensen bought it then & as of 2002, it looks like it belongs to the Herr family.
