Hi. I have some Roscoe/Rosko relations that I want to see if you could help me with. I am related to a Michael Gyan (b. May 1848) in Austria/Hungary. He married an Elizabeth Roscoe (b. Jul 1858) in 1875. The two immigrated to Johnstown, Pa, in 1882. I was told that Elizabeth had a "cousin" (It could be a first, second, third cousin I don't know) by the name of Anna Rosko. Anna was born on April 6th 1879 to a John and Anna Rosko. She also immigrated to Johnstown, Pa, in 1897. Anna also had a brother by the name of Mike Rosko. In a family obituary a Michael Roschoe of Braddock attended a funeral. This could be Anna's brother Mike, but I don't know for sure. Obviously he was somehow connected to the family for being in an obituary. And finally, in the 1900 census of Michael and Elizabeth Gyan, a boarder, Catherine Ruscko, was staying with the family. Catherine was born in April 1874 in Austria/Hungary and immigrated in 1895. All of these people spoke GERMAN and many went to a German Lutheran Church.
If you see any connections or can help in any way, let me know.
Chris
