Rosner/ Raisner Grmny-NY-Arthur By-WI/MI

I just started researching this family, so my information is a little brief.

WILHELM ROSNER AND JOHANNA JANERNIG

Wilhelm Rosner (Dec. 12, 1856 Oct. 15, 1931) was a coal miner. He had to push the coal bin with his head. One day he got sick of it and decided to move to America with his wife and children. Wilhelm married Johanna Janernig (pronouce Yonernig) in Germany. They moved from Germany to New York and then to Arthur Bay.
Johanna was born June 28, 1857 (presumably in Germany) and died Jan. 27, 1926.

Wilhelm and Johanna had four children:

1. Emma
2. Paul
3. Fred
4. William Raisner married Emma Barofsky

WILLIAM RAISNER AND EMMA BAROFSKY

William apparently changed his surname from Rosner to Raisner

William and Emma had three children:

1. William Jr. died in the Battle of the Buldge
The other children may be living (unknown). One branch of the family eventually settled in the vacinity of Marinette, MI.

Any info. would be appreciated.

Xen
