Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

They shouldn't be charging for the original, in Henderson, Cherokee, Anderson, And Smith counties they just give them to the family members. They told me they can't charge for them because they are the property of the family. I have been able to get 12 originals from different court houses for my research and have never paid a cent. Maybe someone at that courthouse doesn't know about that. I don't mean to stick my nose in but I just thought you would like to know that.
