Whoops-I discovered a glaring error just after (unfortunately) posting my Rounsavall genforum response to Joyce Schutt. The sentence is error is this one: "The book gives the ancestry of Josiah (he who married Jane Moores) as the son of David, as the grandson of Benjamin, and as the great-grandson of David." The last mention of "David" is incorrect--here "David" should be "Richard." Richard (not David) is the great-grandfather of Josiah. So "Richard" is the father of Benjamin; Benjamin is the father of David; and David is the father of Josiah Rounsavall who married Jane Moores. Benjamin had two sons: David and Josiah (who married Sarah Conge)r. It seems Josiah Rounsavall who married Jane Moores is the son of David. It seems likely this Josiah was named for his uncle (the Josiah who married Sarah Conger). I apologize for causing confusion in my genforum response of a few minutes ago.
