Log church on Daniel Roush's land
I found this web site about a Lutheran Log church built on land donated by Daniel Roush in Point Pleasant in 1815. A reproduction of the Church is at the Farm Museum there. The church met for a while in Daniel Roush's Barn. The article refers to the Roushes and the Weavers building the Church. I'm not sure which Daniel Roush this is. My guess would be that it is George Roush's son Daniel (1787-1866). But it could have been John Adam's son as well. Anyway, the photos and information about the lifestyle there are quite interesting.
