Hello - your Mary Routh was the Maria Routh b 1794 as listed by the Spanish.
Zaccheus Routh was a brother of my ancestor Jeremiah Routh - who appeared in Natchez, Miss. with Zaccheus - they came from Mecklenburg Co., NC.-Jeremiah Routh's son Job Routh of Natchez is my line.
Deville's "Colonial Louisiana Marriage Contracts" - Book Av. 1792-36, June 23:
23 Jun 1792: Benjamin Routh of Auoyelles Post, native of Maclenbon (sic) in Carolina, son of Zaquire Routh & Bord Brege to Sarah widow of Benjamin Estanli, resident of Ayoyelles.

Zaccheus Routh died in Avoyelles Parish in 1792 - His will states "I leave my body to earth, and my soul to God who gave it to me.I bequeath to my wife the cow, I bequeath and give to my son Ben Routh my house, 3 cows and two calves, my horse, my tools etc".

22 Mar 1805 = entered 22 Jany 1805 =John Ellis claims 400 acres [now] in JEFFERSON CO, MISS on water's of Holt's Creek as stated in above grant and sold by Routh to Ellis on 21 Feb 1784 (p 435, NCR)
