I am following up the Rout family, mine came to england from Brussels, Belgium in time to be listed in the 1881 census as Joseph, born 1849 married to caroline, born 1846 and living in London. they had a son , Lambert Rout who married a mary Dickens from Northampton england. he is my grt. grandfather. There are 245 people named Routs in East Anglia on the 1881 census.
