An FYI for anyone working this line: John Long Routt, first territorial governor of Colorado, was an uncle of Sarah Bay (daughter of James Simpson Bay -m- Sally Routt). Sarah married an Edward S. (Ned) Walker in 1866 at McLean County, Illinois. Walker was a brother of David Davis Walker, who was a gg-grandfather of the current President GWBush.
