Graham, This is really interesting information. Especially because your site mentions a Thomas Row in 1773 who mentions in his will a son William Row. I think he might be my William Row because another one of his sons mentioned is one Thomas Row "now of Eyke, land in Tunstall now occupied by Robert Welham". It has to be more than a coincidence that (although William Row is on my father's side) on my mother's side of the family my great grandmother was Sarah Welham (as far as I know the family came from the same area). With the difference in name I don't suppose there is any connection in the further coincidence here: That is that Sarah Welham and her husband Arthur Anthony Runacres had three girls, one of them (my grandmother) married a Frederick Thomas Leonard Pratt (I wonder if your family name somehow lost the en here like my William Row gained an e in my surname!). I don't suppose you can tell me something about where you came accross the information related to this William Row, or whether you have any further details on him? If you'd prefer to contact me through my email address, I'm happy for you to do that it is: kendrickau@hotmail.com Thanks, Chris Rowe Notify Administrator about this message?
