In 2001 a msg was posted by John King relating to the possible parents of Benjamin Row, b. about 1810-12 possibly in MD. He was founder of coal mine in Junior WV,Barbour CO. and father of one child, Andrew Jackson Row b.1832 who m. Delila Williams
and then passed the mine on to his son, William A. who was born Nov 27 1856 and m.Sarah Coffman and had 9 children. The 5th Child was Golden Frank Row b. Barker District, Junior WV Oct 6 1884. He did not stay in the mining business but became very successful in banking,politics,public service. He m. Irma Yapel who was from Athens CO. Ohio April 14 1810 and 5 children..Irma died Oct 14 1918 shortly after giving birth to last child Eileen b. Apr 5 1918. 2 of the 5 children, Maurice F. and Eileen were given over to William A.Row's 2nd child, Cora, who was the widow of Charles Hillyard, to raise...
My interest is one of the sons of Maurice F. who had m. Winifred Yaple and had son,Lawrence B. who was b. 1939, d. 1996.
