I am trying to locate any information on Verl Vernon Row and his wife, Delores Almyrah Kelly. They are listed on my husbands birth certificate as his parents, and as having one living son at the time of his birth, 7/30/1945. Place of birth, as best as I can make it out, is Clinton, DeWitt county?, IL. Lists father as being in the army. He was given up for adoption at birth or shortly thereafter and he would very much like to have some information about his birth parents. His adopted name is Robert Carlyle Haney. On the birth certificate he is Robert Carlyle Row. Courtney Carl Haney and his I believe 2ND wife, Helen raised him from newborn to age 12 years, in and around Chicago, Bushton, Charleston, IL. When they divorced he moved to Phoenix, AZ with Courtney. He has never had any information much on his birth family and now he has children and grandchildren with a lot of questions for which he has no answers. He is 60 years old now and a lot of the parties involved has since passed away. We are fast running out of people to ask. If anyone has any information for Robert we would be very appreciative if you would share it with us. We are not of an age to go around trying to disturb other people's lives, we simply would like to have a few answers while it is still possible to get them. He has lived his whole life not knowing the true circumstances of his birth. I think not knowing has got to be worse than knowing there was anything bad about it. I think after 60 years all mistakes could be forgiven or overlooked, but Robert doesn't have a whole lot of years left to find out the truth. Again, if anyone out there can help we'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Vicky and Bob Haney
