Allen + Row marriage, around 1775

When she married Jean-Baptiste (Antoine) Surprenant in 1807 in Longueuil, Québec, Mary-Ann Allen said her parents were John Allen and Polly Row. Likely, these were married around 1750-1775.

Could John Allen and Polly Row be the same than Edward Allen and Mary Row, that got married in Montréal (Christ Anglican Church) on March 07, 1779 ? At that time, Polly was a nickname for Mary, I was told.

Any information would be appreciated.
