Abram son of Andrew Rowand & Agnes Patison was born 1790 at Renfrewshire SCT and married Jean Thomson daughter of James Thomson & Jean Rowan on March 24, 1823. Issue were: Jean, 1824, married John Armstrong, Andrew, 1828, married Elizabeth Little on Dec 13, 1903, James, 1830, married Elizabeth Gowanlock on June 30, 1897 (my ancestor), Abram, 1832, married Elizabeth Hislop on Mar. 23, 1858 and William, 1842, married Racheal Riddle on Jan 25, 1866. There were also Agnes, Agnes 2nd, Margaret & Robert all died young.
