Hello again. Since I post message 133 on this forum I have
found some more information on Christopher Rowden. He joined
the confediate army on march 4,1862 and died of a disease
april 18,1863 in Brookhaven,Ms.He was in Company A,42nd
Georgia Infantry Regiment. He joined the CSA. in Gwinnett Co.
Georgia. His regiment was known as the Gwinnett Beauregards.
I have a couple of questions. (1) Does anyone out there know
where he is buried.(2) Does anyone out there know where there is a cem. in Gwinnett Co. called Rowden Findley Cem.
Christopher's mother and father along with some brothers
and sisters are buried there.I have not been able to find it
Any info. would be a great help.Richard McCleskey
