Thank you for getting back with me. Nathaniel Rowden was the first Rowden to move to Cherokee County, Kansas that I know of. Then my family line moved there at the turn of the 20th Century. I am looking for any connections or communication between them and reasons for the move, etc. Of course, any information on Mary Jane Rowden Cox as well.

I would be very interested in the information you suggested. Could you tell me more on the Cherokee Indian connection?
