Hi Resa,

I have a lot of material I would like to send to you, so I will contact you via email if that is all right. I believe that your great-great grandfather, Allan D. Patton, was indeed the half brother of my great-grandfather, Phillip Charles Rowden. Mary Jane Rowden is there mother.

Allan and his family seemed to have followed close to his mother as she moved from Illinois to Zincite, Missouri (outside of Joplin) and then to Galena, Kansas by 1900. Alan died sometime between 1910 and 1920 as the 1920 Census shows his wife, Cora, living with her daughter and family, Zantha (sp. ?).

Thanks for contacting me. I look foward to sharing information. I have photos of Mary Jane and Phillip to send as well.
