I have found my husband's ancestor, Micajah Sansom, Sr. (b. Lunenburg Co., Va. ca. 1750's d. 1829/30 Newton Co., Georgia) associated in many deeds with a Laban Rowden and perhaps Lot and Hubbard also. Only thing I can see connected is perhaps somewhere is a Echols association somewhere. Micajah's wife was a Dorothy Gibson who he md. ca. 1771/2 in Meherrin Baptist Church, Lunenburg Co., Va. She survived him and is in the 1830 census of Newton Co., Ga. Her date and place of death is unknown. The only other Gibson I can find in the Meherrin Baptist Church minutes was (1) a David Gibson.
