Hello Douglass - I sent you a message to your email but it came back to me today. At the time I read your original posts I thought if you had the census with the names of children that it might help you to find descendants...thinking that people may not know that they were desc of William or James and that maybe posts with other names might help, especially with the females who would have married names.

The info at Ancestry that conflicts with yours of course cannot be verified but I thought it was interesting :)

My family was originally Rau, Palatines from Germany who came to NY in 1710 under the auspices of Queen Anne of England. Some went to PA and may have moved further south but right now I don't have any in GA.

Thanks for the offer to share! Have you traced back beyond Martin & Anna? There are Rau/Rowe from Germany but there are also Rowes from England.

I could look for desc in the census for William Palmer and James Power if you think that would help?

Also, I could contact the owners of the trees at Ancestry and maybe put them in touch with you? I figure those owners must be descendants. email karimagameel@yahoo.com
