The information I have so far is that Johnson Rowe is the son of William Rowe and Lucy Johnson. He was born around 1735 and died around 1814. He married Temperance (last name unknown) and had children: John, Johnson, Jr. and William.
Johnson, Jr. was born June 28, 1791 and died February 6, 1858 in Maury County, TN. He married an Emerine H. Stevens late in life (he died two years after their marriage). I can’t find much else on him. I know he had a brother and sister (Anderson and Matilda). His children were Andrew Tate and Millard Fillmore in Tennessee. Not sure if Emerine mothered both children – Millard was born shortly after their marriage.
I am a descendant of Millard Fillmore Rowe. He is my grandmother’s grandfather.
I found some information on Johnson Sr. in Virginia but I think there is more information on his brother John. Any information is helpful.
