Hi. Thanks for answering. You so right! The more I learn, the more I need to learn. The one question I have today is: Have you ever heard of Black River in Pender County? I'm from New Hanover and I have never heard of it. In the will of John Rowe, he gives Casiah land on the east side of Black River. At the time, he lived in New Hanover. Since the will was probated in 1783 and Pender Co was created in 1785, perhaps Black River was in New Hanover at that time. As you said more questions. I appreciate any info you are willing to share.
