Hello Betty. In John's will, he names his son, Roan. I am descended from Roan. I chased John's son Frederick for years and finally figured out that he went west to Tenn. Roan went south into GA, leaving family there, and then to LA and MS. I am descended from Roan's son Frederick who was in McIntosh County, Georgia. I have tried for years to put more facts together and keep hitting a blank wall. Have you tried checking the records of British troops who came over? I am convinced, but cannot prove, that these "Rowe" were "Row" and originated in Scotland. I will share anything I have. My e-mail is palmer.rowe@comcast.net
