My wife's mother was Edith LaVerne Rowlison, b. 12/26/1936 in Ft. Myers, Fl. She married Gilder Roy Kelley 7/6/54 in Kingsland, GA. LaVerne's parents were Raymond Arhtur Rowlison, b May 26, 1909 in Ney, Defiance Co., Ohio, and Edith Louise Whitehead, b. Nove. 20, 1916 in Bonifay, FL. They were married 12/31/35 in Alva, FL. Raymond's parents were Nathan Rowlison, b. June 21, 1868 in Dekalb Co., Indiana, and Amy Almedia Bontrager, b. Dec. 4, 1878 in Dekalb Co., Indiana. They were married 4/15/06. I have a lot of genealogy on the Bontrager's. Although I am still searching for proof positive, it appears that Nathan's father was Manelburt Clarington (Miles) Rowlison, b. 1842 in Jefferson Co., Indiana, the borther of James Demetrius Rowlison. Miles' wife was Viola or Edith Jordan, b. 1867 in Jefferson Co., Indiana. It appears that Miles and his wife had 4 other children, John, Fred, Minnie and Estella. I have more info. if you like, but I need help in confirming Nathan as the true son of Manelburt. That links him up with Aaron, Jr. & Sr. and all of their family lineage. Hope this helps.
