To all you 'Royer' family searchers out there, I found this brief piece of info while looking for a completely different family. I kick it into your forum for what it's worth ! In 1762 there was a Louis Royer living in the Parish of Monken Hadley in Barnet, Middlesex (now part of North London)in England. He was a Barber & Wig-maker. I have no idea how old he was in 1762. There was some connection (which I have not investigated) with a John Warter, born c.1714, who was resident in the Parish of St.Michael, Barbados. Warter was married to an English lady, Mary Mawson who had family connections in Hadley & whose father & brother were Heralds at the College of Arms in London. More than this I cannot tell you and have no interest in knowing. Over to you all. Good luck.
