ROYER in England

In researching a completely different subject I jotted down this brief piece of info and thought I would pass it on before throwing away my papers. In 1762 there was a Louis Royer, barber & wig-maker, living in the small but wealthy Parish of Monken Hadley, Barnet, Middlesex (now part of north London) in England. I have no idea of his age at that date. He had some connection either with one John Warter, born or baptised 22nd July 1714 of the Parish of St.Michael, Barbados or the connection was with Mary Mawson (John Warter's wife's maiden name). Mary's father & brother were Heralds at the College of Arms in the City of London. More than this I have no other information or interest. I pass it over to the 'Royer' forum for what it's worth. Good luck !!
