Thanks for the email, did I tell you before that that my William Roylance was a waterman,
you can find him and his family living at 370 Deandsgate, Manchester, on the 1881 census.So it looks like we are related somewhere in the dark and distant past (by the way, are you mega rich).
So your James, must have been,my great grandfather's brother.
If you have not got the 1881 census ,if you let me have your email address, I will send you a printout of the entry.
Did you know that Williams mother and father, were Thomas and Lydia Roylance, also from Runcorn.
