Hi Mark, Sorry I hit the wrong key earlier, I started this once, and thought I posted an earlier mailing, you may get it. Anyway, I'd love for you to check a few things out at the Manchester Center for me. If and when you get back there, I need to find some information on the following: I need some information on a Sarah Grimshaw's Dob: abt 1820-22 (Poss 1819) Ashton Under Lyne, the only thing I can find list a wrong parentage for her. Her Parents were, James and Martha Lowe, I already have a printout of the Marriage Index from Manchester Cathedral for Sarah & Joseph's Marriage, but would love! to find any information on the Witness: John & Charles Radcliffe (Ratcliffe), I'm betting they all were very close friends, and it might help find out about Joseph Roylance's Siblings (If there were any). I've also checked the Census Information for 1888. (Don't know what that did, they have already immigrated by then) I do not have any way to get to a census though for the year(s), before they immigrated in June 1864. Would they have anything? I really would love to find Joseph's Siblings, as he could connect 3 Seperate Roylance Families here in USA going back to the early 1700's, when the First of the Roylance's Immigrated! - that would be the best X Mas Present I could get!. I'm assuming that a Peter Roylance Born abt 1798 in Ormskirk is Joseph's Father, but I could be wrong, authough Joseph's Father was a Peter and he was a Chair Maker, no other information on him though. His mother's name was: Esther Lee (Poss LN). Hope your knee heals well, sorry to hear about that. Thank you very much for your offer, I'll bet your sorry you asked by now!. Get back to me when you can! and no sooner. I'll be here (I hope). How is the weather there by the way!, We've been lucky so far, mild 50's + here. No snow yet, authough next Wednesday is my Birthday, we'll probably get snow!. Later, Cathy Roylance.
