Iam looking for any information on a William Roylance, born 1839 in Heaton Norris, who married the daughter of my gt. gt. grandfather James Smithaman.Her name was Emma Smithaman and she was born on the 21st Feb 1841 at Heneage Street Aston Birmingham.They were married on the 5th May 1867 in the Parish Church Stockport.The marriage certificate gives the following information-William was the minder of a self acting machine [he was a brick maker].His father Peter was also recorded as having the same occupation.William`s address being Leigh Street Brinksway.Emma`s Address was Kings Street Daw Bank Stockport.Her occupation was not recorded but I know she was a cotton weaver.I have information on one son,James born Heaton Norris in 1871.There was also an Ann R.[Roylance?] Smithaman,Emma`s daughter,who was born before the marriage in 1866 Manchester
