Charles Roylance - Stockport 1840-?

I have traced back to a grt grt grandfather, Charles Roylance who was born in Stockport around 1840, married a Sarah Goodall in 1862, and had a dozen or so children between 1863 and 1884 (all in Stockport) including my grt grandfather Walter Edmund. Without ordering his marriage certificate I cannot find his father's name and online census records are not helping me trace Charles' father and mother.
Charles was a Chairmaker to begin with (perhaps a family business) but then worked for a druggist in later life.
Anyone able to connect him with any info they have?

Jaimie Roylance
