Ruckel-Mailinglist re-activated

Hello,

my name is Jörg Ruckel and I'm living in Kassel/Germany.

Since a long time the rootsweb-Administrator tried to reach Kraig Ruckel, who was the list-administrator for a long time. Unfortunately they can't reach them. Because they plan to close the list, I told them that I can be the list-administrator if nobody will do it. Of course if Kraig could be reached I will give him back the administration.

As I said I'm living in germany. I'm 38 years old and research the Ruckel-history since a long time and have nearly all informations back to 1700 about the german Ruckel's. I also have found a line to the united states - but no informations about for example Caspar Ruckel.

My latest research was done together with Carol Ruckle-Richardson. She helps me to find a lot of early informations (area of Gedern in Hessia/Germany).

Well, it would be great to re-active this mailing-list. It would be nice to know who takes part at this list and also to have new-subscriber. Maybe it's possible that all subscribers introduce thereselves with a few words and tell something about their ancestors.

Thats all at the moment - looking forward to your mails in the list.

People can subscribe to the list in mail mode by sending a message to RUCKEL-L-request@rootsweb.com that contains the word:
subscribe

Best wishes

Jörg
