I have been curious about the connection between Ruckle and Rickle. My g-g-grandfather, David Ruckle, married Margaret Roush. His cousin, Francis Ruckel, married Margaret's siter, Catherine Roush. A cousin of the Roush sisters, Allen Roush, married Catherine Rickle. These families were all living in or near Barry Co., Michigan in 1870. There were other Rickle families there too. The coincidence seems too strange for words, but I've never been able to find any solid line of descent between the Ruckle/Ruckel and Rickle lines. Did any of your Rickle family settle in Michigan?
