Denis, I don't know if Margaret Switzer's mother was a Ruckle. The only Ruckle web site run by Kraig Ruckel doesn't show her. However, Margaret's husband Philip, was a first cousin of Barbara Ruckle. His mother was Margrath Ruckle, daughter of Caspar Rockel who married Andrew Embury. Margrath's brother Sebastian and Margaret Embury (her parentage I don't have) fathered Barbara.
Incidentally, Barbara, Margaret Switzer Embury Laurence & John Laurence are all interred in the Blue Church Cemetery in Prescott, Ontario overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
