I have 2 Ruckles married into my lines. One married Amanda Naugle b. 1869 Hollenback Twp. dau. of John Ephraim and Elizabeth (Hess) Naugle. The other is Anne Slusser b. bet.1866-1892. She is the dau. of Elias and Elizabeth (Harter) Slusser. Elias Slussers second wife was Mary Elizabeth Naugle sister of the above Amanda. John and Elizabeth Naugle had a grandson living with them in 1900, Florence Ruckle b. Mar. 1888. Who were his parents???
My grandfather Sterling Slusser had a half brother named Florence. I am unsure of his last name, not sure if by chance Mary Elizabeth Naugle was married 3 times and I am trying to see if this Florence Ruckle is her son. My aunts called him Uncle Ruckle but then Anne married a Ruckle so not sure if they are confusing the two. Mary Elizabeth Naugle Cragle Slusser's dau. Bessie Cragle was also living with John and Elizabeth Naugle in 1900. Does anyone have a Ruckle in connection with Slusser or Naugle? Any info appreciated. Thanks.
