Jeannie,
Thank you ever-so-much for responding to my query. I am sorry, but I can't answer your questions with any degree of accuracy, because in reviewing hundreds of postings regarding Peter "Patch" Rucker's ancestors and descendents, the majority of researcers have listed different dates of birth, where born and lived, name of parents, spouses and children. The birth date of Peter "Patch" Rucker ranges from 1702, 1703, 1719, 1720, 1722 and 1725. His parents are listed as Peter, John, Thomas and Ambrose Levi Rucker, and according to some researchers, he had several children
between Elizabeth Terrelland Jemima Crawford.
I have the Book "Rucker Heritage" by Alice Rucker Allen, that mentions three Peter Ruckers...Peter 1,2, and 3. Peter3 Rucker (see page 49) could very well be Peter "Patch," as he was born 1722, first married toElizabeth Terrell and later Jemima Crawford. However, there is no mention of a daughter named Mildred "Millie Rucker that supposedly married John Martin. There is a Mildred Rucker mentioned in the book, but she was the daughter of John2 Rucker... she married Stephen Hamm or Ham.
Again, thank you for responding to my post. I will appreciate any and all your help and any advice offered to enhance further research on Peter "Patch" Rucker.
Flournoy.
