Jesse b. May 29, 1891, Seymour, IN is the son of Hugh Abel Findley Ruddick. He d. in November 1978 in Brentwood, CA I have his middle name as Beecher, but that was not proven.
His father b. July 16, 1849, was married to Mary Louisa Wrightman (or Whitney) b. in 1854 o 1855 in New York. They were married on April 22, 1877, and had eight children. Jesse was number seven.

Hugh's father was Jesse Ruddick, b. October 4, 1819, Jackson Township, Jackson, County, Indiana. On May 17, 1842, he married Matilda Findley, b. February 7, 1815, Indiana. They had nine children and Hugh was number five.

Jesse's father was William Ruddick, b. October 7, 1781, Chestnut Creek, Grayson County, Indiana. On April 7, 1803, he married Rachel Cox, b. 1779, N.C., near Chillicothe, Ohio Territory. They had nine children and Jesse was number 7.

William Ruddick was the son of Solomon Ruddick b. circa 1753, Warrington, PA.

Solomon was my third great grandfather's brother.

Solomon was the son of William Rudduck (found spelled several different ways) b. circa 1723, Chester County, PA.
