Ruddick surname
Posted by: Lewis Ruddick (ID *****3043) Date: July 14, 2007 at 09:56:28

As a result of DNA testing and connections to matches in or from Ireland it appears that the original spelling of my Ruddick line surname (Desendants of William Ruddock (circa 1691) and wife Alice, Penn.s Colony) is Ruddock. I've DNA connected to two Ruddocks, a Hull and a Ruddick from Ireland.

Still attempting to make a paper connection for the period between circa 1720 in Pennsylvania and 1690 in Ireland.

Lewis M. Ruddick
