I'm sorry, I have no further information. I do have a photo of H.W. Rudloff, if you're interested in receiving a scanned image of that.

However, I do believe that Hans may be related to my great-grandfather Carl Thiele, whose mother's maiden name was listed as Caroline Rudloff on Carl's 1881 marriage certificate; Caroline was married to Edward Thiele sometime prior to 1850.

Carl's obituaries say he was born in Mulhausen, Thuringia, Germany, so that may be where Edward Thiele and Caroline Rudloff Thiele resided before & after 1850.
