I am a decendant of Zebulon and Marianne Wallington Rudolph of Sylamore, Arkansas. Zebulon was born in 1794 in Elkton, Maryland and died in Sylamore. Marianne was born in Philadelphia in 1802, daughter of Capt. Edward Wallington, a sea captain, and died in 1831. Their first son, Edward Wallington Rudolph was my great-great grandfather and he was born on Jan. 1, 1821 and married to Mary Jane Chadwick. His other siblings were: Tobias Sewell Rudolph, Zebulon Brown Rudolph, Jr., Milnor Rudolph, Catherine Wallington Rudolph, and Marianne Augusta (Polly) Rudolph. Please note that the last name was originally spelled Rudulph and was changed to Rudolph at some point. Anyone related to these families? My great-grandmother, Julia Rudolph Swords was one of Edward's children. He eventually settled and died in Wakarusa, Kansas near Topeka in Shawnee County. Other siblings and children of Edward and Mary Ann Chadwick were Ella Jane Rudolph, born 1849, married to John Davis, Frank Rudolph, born 1850, Tobias Rudolph, born 1855, Edward Rudolph, born 1853, Mary Rudolph, born 1858, married to H.C. Henley, Nellie Rudolph, born in 1861 and married to F.W. Wells and Laura Rudolph, born in 1867 and married to William R. Moody. I have no other information on these families. All of these children were born in in either Arkansas or Kansas. Thanks!!
