"Palmyra- Conrad Rudolph, 67, a farmer near Palmyra most of his life, died Monday in the home of his son, Harold, at Mukwonago, with whom he had resided since leaving Palmyra...Mr. Rudolph was born in Palmyra Feb. 1, 1884, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rudolph, and married Elizabeth Olds, Palmyra, who died Jan. 28, 1939. Two children also preceded him in death, Ruth, who died Aug. 23, 1929, and Clyde, who died Jan. 3, 1937. Surviving are four sons, Harold, of Mukwonago, Forest, of Lake Beulah, Douglas and Russell, both of Palmyra; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Sherer, Palmyra, Mrs. Arthur Maxwell, Turtle Lake, ND and Mrs. James Carson, Whitewater; 21 grandchildren; four brothers, William and Henry, both of Palmyra, Fred and Walter, both of Milwaukee, five sisters, Mrs. James Rowe and Mrs. Sarah Mortimer, both of Palmyra, Mrs. Mary O'Donnell, Delavan, Mrs. Sam Omdoll and Mrs. Charles Ankomeus, both of Whitewater.. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery here..." ~Janesville Daily Gazette - Tuesday, August 21, 1951, Janesville, Wisconsin
