June Katherine Jones, the daughter of John H. and Minnie Behr Ruesch, was born June 13, 1930 on the family farm in Nobles Co., Minnesota. She grew up on the farm and attended country school. June was united in marriage to Bud Jones on April 12, 1950 at the Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda, MN. After their marriage they lived and farmed south of Fulda. They remained on the farm their entire married life and raised their two children. June passed away at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the age of 77. She was a lifetime member of the Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Church. June was involved with Bible study and belonged to numerous church committees. She was involved with senior aquanastics. June also enjoyed raising flowers, gardening, crafts, crocheting, doll collecting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Bud of Worthington, MN; daughter, Barb (Galen) Fienhage of San Antonio, TX; son, Dan (Penny) Jones of Worthington, MN; four grandchildren, Ethan Jones, Cody Jones, Chad Schweigert and Brandey Jones and brother, Orville, (Valeda) Ruesch of Fulda, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Fulda, MN at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 with the Rev. Kristi Mitchell officiating. The organist was Roxanne Kremer. The soloist was Lorna Bennet. The honorary pallbearers were Ethan Jones, Cody Jones, Chad Schweigert, Alan Jones, Wayne Jones and Alan Ruesch. Interment at Worthington Memorial Gardens Worthington, MN.
