I am interested in the following couple, and would be happy to share details of their family with anyone else researching this family.

Elizabeth Farthing. She appears in the baptism register for Lindsey, 28th Sep 1823, with a note that she was Mr.Saunderson, Monks Eleigh. She m. Henry Ruffell, 10th Oct 1848 at Lindsey. He was a labourer of Hadleigh, son of Benjamin Ruffell, labourer. He was bap.6th July 1822 at Semer, son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Ruffle (Payne). He was aged 27 and she was aged 26 in 1851 Census, when they were living with her father at Lindsey. His birthplace was given as Semer, and hers as Lindsey. They were living in Lindsey village in 1861 Census with three children and her father. They had four children. Henry Ruffell, aged 58 (b.Semer) was a widower and a general labourer, living at Kersey Street, Kersey in 1881 Census with a son, Henry, aged 13, general labourer (b.Kersey). His married daughter, Elizabeth and her family were living with him in 1881 Census.

Regards, Steve
