Hello,
The Trimble line comes from the daughter of another Rugg ancestor who was a brother to my Rugg.Harriet Rugg Trimble, dau/o Henry F Rugg married a Trimble and left Watertown, NY and moved to Pennsylvania, but I don't remember the exact city/county. I can tell you this Trimble relative started the metal lapel button pin that became a fad during the election of Eisenhower and is now a multimillion dollar industry.
Two years ago I was contacted by this Rugg-Trimble relative whose own great grandmother had saved every news clipping and family history imaginable.I needed the Obituary for my 1902 great grandfather's death and he had an original 1902 Obit and made me a copy.
He lives about 20 minutes away from me and is looking for other Rugg-Trimble relatives. It just happened his Rugg ancestor is a younger brother to my Hibbard Rugg, sons of Artemeus Rugg and Theodosia Porter Rugg of Watertown, New York.Your Charles Hibbard Rugg may be a younger brother then to my great grandmother Rugg?
Please contact me at [email protected] and I can forward you other information.
